Acquisition Criteria
Thor Equities primary investment focus is on opportunities in what we refer to as the global gateway cities, as well as other major urban locations. These locales are generally characterized as world-class tourist destinations, highly trafficked retail corridors, as well as a dense, and growing local population base. While the investment focus is retail and retail mixed use, we have also invested in a wide range of property types located in these gateway markets, including office and hotel. The general guidelines for each property type acquisition are described below:
We consider both “value-added” opportunities and stabilized assets in a variety of formats and settings, ranging from suburban-style strip centers and enclosed malls to downtown mixed-use properties. Our primary requirements are high residential densities in the surrounding area and high sales figures among existing tenant.
